ZG Series Office Furniture Locks (A-Zum?)

The following are pictures of an office furniture lock (awaiting original manufacturer information) marked as "ZG 0038".  No key blank was found that would go in without modification.  What was used was a Taylor# X114/Ilco# DA24 blank modified to being .250 inch in width (by cutting ~.015" from each side).  The cuts for this key are 132313 (although the wafers are mastered, the cuts appearing to be 143414, using a Taylor# X115/Ilco# DA23 modified the same as before).  The specs for cutting this are as follows:

1st Cut: .100"
Spacing: .100"
Depths:
    1. .250"
    2. .230"
    3. .210"
    4. .190"

  1. Hi, excellent info on the A-ZUM ZG series! This will definitely help out our fellow Locksmiths. I happen to stock these locks if you need them. They wont be marked with the "ZG" series though, but they'll interchange without any issues. Here's where you can find the locks https://www.easykeys.com/2_A-ZUM_Drawer_Cabinet_Lock_LW127.aspx.

Also if you need the key blanks. I have the OEM blanks so that way you can easily duplicate the ZG series on site. Here's the link to the key blanks https://www.easykeys.com/100_A-ZUM_K9C_Key_Blank.aspx.

One thing about the ZG series though. A-ZUM discontinued those lock codes and replaced them with ones starting as "CC".
